Gunung Ledang

Yeah! Finally visited Gunung Ledang after hearing about it for such a long time in the geography and history textbooks. Didn't really conquer the whole moutain, but at least we managed to get halfway there. Wan Choon told me if i was free to go Sagil or Tangkak, but i didn't aspect to be climbing up Gunung Ledang. I'm really bad at places, and road signs that's for sure. I only get myself ready the night before.

We get into the Tangkak exit on the highway, which is their main town. Took our breakfast there, had such great Roti Canai worth mentioning. It's crispy, though small, but delicious. The teh tarik offered there is also tasty, not too sweet, nor too bitter. After breakfast, we proceed to Sagil from Tangkak, which is where Gunung Ledang is situated.

I was told it would take us 8 hours to climb up and down Gunung Ledang, but we end up taking around 2 hours to complete the hike up hill. The track is not a smooth one, but manageable that's for sure. Was being cheated by the guard which claims a half and hour trip to be two hours. By the time i reached the Check Point 4 (our final destination) i still have a lot of strength left...which i kept for the other 1 hour 30 minutes. Dang!

An accident occur, which i find quite funny. Ding Wen got himself badly cut near his right eye. It's a tragic for sure, but let me explain the funny part first. Ah Yap was washing his face with his four flat on the ground on the waterfall. And Ding Wen tried to do the same thing, but his shoes which are badly torned slipped which caused him to fall and knocked his face. His wound was bleeding so badly we all thought it need to be stiched. Met up with some of our juniors there which was fortunate enough to have brought a first aid kit. We continue our journey up while Yee Jen volunteered to stay back to accompany Ding Wen.

The water is quite cooling up there, and it's really clean enough for drinking. I kept some water in the bottle, and i can say it's cleaner then the tap water without the cholorine and going through rusty pipes.

Took Ding Wen to Pantai Hospital once we come back to Melaka. It took me less then an hour to reach back as the place is in the border of Johor and Melaka (as i was told). They clinic charged him RM71 for the treatment. Wow! this hospital really knows how to earn money! No wonder there's so many people wanted to send their children for medical school.

Went to M@rimo and Chyoli's belated birthday party at Xuan around 10pm. Was happy to see a new girl singing up there rather then the same band which usually sing during the weekends. It's not that they are not good, but with a new vocalist, it cheered up the crowd more. The gal is cute, but too bad i don't have a chance to take a photo with her. Maybe some other time...doesn't really matter though. It's getting late, had a tiring day, better sleep now. I had deleted Adobe Photoshop from my computer, photos will be uploaded as soon as I install Photoshop CS
