Ipoh Trip (Day 2)

Morning drove to fetch SiKah from the bus station and go to town for DimSum. The EggTart is crispy and the fillings are sweetening and quite filling. Planned to DaBao some back to eat, but it sold out like hot cakes, din managed to even take one back. :( After meal we took a drive around the park in town. The same one we visited last night, but we can't see a thing cause it's too dark.

We skipped lunch and go back to pack our things before HooiMun's dad brings us to the 3Caves and leave us there. It's only a short way out from the highway, so we can drive ourselves back to Melaka without problem. Those caves are those "commercialized", which means a lot of visitors coming. But since it's a weekday i don't see much people visiting this place. 三保洞 (San Bao Dong) is one of them, they are actually 3 caves arranged in the same row. There's another 观音洞 down the road, but I'm in a rush to meet Swee Lai so din go. There's a turtle pond in the back of 三保洞, which excites the girls. Irene bought some Kankung (vegitable) from the pityful looking aunties at the entrance. The girls was excited by the reaction of the turtles when they fed them while i was enjoying myself taking photos of the paradise sort of chamber in the cave.

Took a tiring drive back to Melaka. Driving without any radio and cassettes is really boring, especially when everyone else in the car is sleeping soundly. Fortunately Irene volunteered to take over, and i managed to get a nice decent sleep. She loved to get in front of the wheels and drove better then me. I wonder if i should let her drive more frequent, as i don't want her to strain herself too much.

After bidding goodbye with the girls, drove to McD's Mahkota Parade to meet up with SweeLai (he's a guy!) as he wants to buy the camera from me. Waited for him while taking our Lunch-Dinner. Sold him at RM1000/=. It's a huge loss in my side, but since i'm selling it to a classmate, i don't really mind, as S2IS just came into the market few days go. Shit!!! Why on earth does Canon want to came out a new model when i'm just about to sell my camera??? Oh well, doesn't matter as i need the money to buy EOS 350D.

Juz realized this morning when i woke up that I forgot to bring my melacca house keys this morning. Called up my landlord to get the keys from him. Took a long turn in Kampung Tujuh cause we can't believe he stayed in the newly built housing area. We were shocked when we saw his house, which is quite nicely built. His father came back to bukit beruang with us to open the door. He doesn't have the front door key, but fortunately the back door can be open, with the help of a hammer from the neighbour. It's a tough task as I've a latch from inside, have to force open the door, thanks to the help of my landlord's father.

I decided to take a night rest before driving back to Penang as i don't want to overstress my car, neither am i going to drive 5 hours with a carfull and one tiring couple. It's really tiring driving in the middle of the night as there's no street lights available in most stretch. Tiring day, but glad to have sold my camera. How worried i was that it can't be sold off.

Nice. Day by day account of your trip.

Your camera's second hand price is still more than my camera's fisrt hand selling price!

That's what distinguish the pro and the casual photographer.
