Results are Out!!!

As usual, my results are not over the 3.0 mark. I was expecting smth more this time from my personal judgement. But what can i do now that the results are released? Even appeal/remarking the paper will not change the outcome. Tried it once, and it's juz a waste of RM50 for nothing. I wonder if the lecturer really remark the paper or not.

Irene have an interview in Equatorial today. Accompany her there, and i've to wait quite long as predicted for walk-in interview by Intel. Instead of doing nothing, i bring along the Engineer in Society textbook which i was proof reading for Mr. Pau (lecturer). They are planning to make a revised version and he offered to acknowledge my work. Hopefully he remembered wut he promised, i won't want to find out later that i've done 50 working hours of proof reading with no output. Or worse case, those errors still arise in the book.

The interviewed ended almost time for my dinner. Suddenly feel like eating Nasi Kandar. Spend RM7.70 on nasi berani in Kayu Nasi Kandar...a luxurious indian restaurant which have franchises around Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Penang is famous for their nasi kandar, and other then Kayu, there's Khalel and Subaidah, which some of you might have visiting it frequently for supper.

Remember the ASUS T2-P that i talked about. I went to Perangin mall after the meal in hope that i might find a better quotation for the CPU. Most shops doesn't stock nor sell mini towers, except MindMaker (+604.262.3200). I saw the unit before i got into the shop, asked the shopkeeper to bring it down as i wanna know how heavy the unit is. To my surprise, that small little tower is as heavy as a normal tower, if not heavier. I'll take the unit anyway, as i'll not need 4 CD-ROM slots. The most i'll be using is only 2. Asked for a quotation, and found out that offered me more for lesser value. I din take the package as i don't really trust BenQ's LCD. Have seen complains from Samsung's LCD as well. Now i still can't decide what LCD i should purchase, or should i just opt for a CRT, which is so bulky, and not suitable for moving to and fro Penang-Melaka.

Will come back to buy from this shop in a few days time. Since it'll be labour day tomorrow, i think i'll have to wait another few days before placing my order.
