Got a Job

I was 5 minutes early for my 2nd interview. And it really took them quite some time to get everyone ready for us. The interview goes smoothly, and my chatty mouth does brings me a long way this time. Took 30 minutes or so to explain and promote myself to the interviewers. There are some tough questions that comes out from the HR, but yet those are just something that everyone have to go through now or later in live. And it only took the other guy 10 minutes tops interviewing for the same position.

One of the interviewer brings both of us to the line that we're suppose to be working on, everything seems familiar, yet I find that there are still a whole lot of things that I've to learn about in here. Hopefully the seniors there are willing to teach if I'm able to work with them.

After that, took a drink while reading free newspapers in McD while waiting for Irene to have her early lunch break. We went to Hongkie, which is one of my favourite restaurants. While waiting for the meal to served, the company that I went to this morning gave me a ring, and confirmed my position. I've failed to ask for the salary they offer, but since they've confirmed me, I've not shy to ask for what I'm suppose to get.

The news gives me such a great impact that I've been hyperactive all afternoon till midnight. Mint Mui brings her friend to the island for a visit, and I've been talking nonsense to them all the way from Bayan Lepas until Ayer Itam. As I've a dinner with Irene, I leave them there at Kek Lok Si with Mint, as those are her friends. Hopefully she get to know the way back.

-------------------------------------------------------
We got lunch at "Little Cottage" which is located in Jalan Burma, in the center of town. This place is really a good getaway for working people. The environment is very nice, but the food there is merely getting through. I was hyper all night that I danced while walking along Gurney Drive. Fortunately, my gal knows how to get me to calm down and stop humiliating myself in public.

Got back home around 11.30pm. Managed to catch the Dutch match and also the replay of Argentina's great 6:0 win. Just pity Ivory Coast, who will be going home after this. Tired, it's a long day tomorrow. G'nites
