Best Italian I know
Every time we went out for Italian, she’ll say, “If you like macaroni and cheese, I can make for u”.
“When?”, I asked
“You buy the materials for me –lah”, answered her.
“Can’t you go and buy those stuffs? You mom never asks your father to drive her to the market every morning did he?”, I asked
I never would have expected her to really go back and ponder about this question. One fine Friday, she went to TESCO with her friend to buy the necessary ingredients, went home early to cook, and decorate the dish in a simple yet delightful manner.
I was working late as usual, reaching home at 8pm is a norm. If I get back too early, my parents would’ve questioned, scold and try to make me look useless. As I reached her place, the clock is reading 10 minutes to nine. Yet she welcome me with a hug, drag me to the dining table, and ask me to start eating. She’s worried that I’m hungry and the food might get cold after such a long time. She heated up a bowl of mushroom soup, and make me some baked beans to go with my macaroni.
She’s not a bad cook I tell you. Even though I’ve been teasing her on her cooking, yet every time she visits the kitchen, you will think that it’s done by a seasonal pro. I love you cute. Hope to try more of your dishes. I promise I’ll clean the dishes after meal. :P

Kor, this reminds me of the time tat Mr.Chong brags in Tesco that he can cook most of the groceries sold there that he can cook BUT I can't cook. So there was one time I got fed up, went to Tesco myself, bought all the ingredients, and cook him some chicken stew. And all he says was "That was nice."
And I said, "So, when is Chef Chong gonna cook for me?"
All he did was darted his eyes somewhere else and hurriedly said "Sweetheart, I'll clean up the dishes for u!"
Well Kor, at least u appreciate Irene's macaroni & cheese.
Irene, lucky u~! ;-)
I'll write this incident in my blog when "I have the time".. =D
That's so funny mui
