Industrial Shoes

During the first few days starting to work in the factory, I’ve to wear these black industrial shoe. These shoes have a huge piece of metal in front each side. Imagine how heavy it is to walk around in these shoes. With every step I move, I’ve to bear with the pain when the metal piece knocks on my feet. This walk/knock process continues from 8.10am till 5.31pm. End up, for the first week, I wear 2 pairs of socks to work yet my legs still sore at night.

Yesterday I came back to work overtime yet left my locker keys at home. So I use a pair of visitor’s flat shoes to work around the line. And I did notice how much slippery it is with those white shoes. I think I’ve gotten used to industrial shoes by now.

Anyway, I think I should be thankful to be working on NORMAL shift. Yet, the only complain would be the long working hours. Imagine I’m expected to work till 7.31pm during weekdays and a minimum of 4 hours during weekends. It’s already been a couple of times that I’ve to work till 8pm before I can go back and have my dinner. Mom and Dad are already tired of me complaining. Let me see if my readers do feel the same way.
