Bird Shooting
I was lucky to get an offer from a local bird photography enthusiast to join him for a session. Since Irene's friends dump her for a movie, I asked her to tag along eventhough I didn't inform this kind generous guy. But I believed she has a once in a lifetime experience in the Wild Wild West.

Sulessia (simply call su) was rather hesitant when he saw me bringing a friend along. It's not like he's not friendly or what, but a LandCruiser can only fit 2 photographers. Since she isn't there for the photography, it's okey for her to just be there and enjoy the wild outdoors.

We went into the wilds for about 3 hours, getting just few feets away from those birds. My most unforgetable experience is when I snap this kingfisher with a flash, talking away like i don't care...yet he's standing there with his various pose.

For this shot of a Brown Shrike grabing a frog, Su's using a 300mmf2.8 (RM6000 for a 2nd hand~!!!) with a D200 body while I'm merely using a D70s with a consumer Sigma 70-300 to get this shot. Rather "beh tahan" with such a miss. Can't get a retake of this bird eating a frog as my card was full at the least expected time. Will most probably be joining him again, hopefully with deligence, I might be able to get a small collection of photos, just like the master.
