Seasonal Greetings
DeepaRaya celebration is just few short days away. Since it's my first year at work, I took the initiative to send some of the people at work a Seasonal Greeting card, just for the sake of it. But I've received a mixed expression from different people, let me share what I've observed.
I can't differenciate a Deep-Indian and a Chris-Indian just by their name. Neither do I have an idea what these people are celebrating. From what I've read up, Thaipusam is celebrated by Hinduism while Deepavali @ Diwali is more widely celebrated, and also known as the "Festival of Lights". There are these indians who kindly tell me they are christians
But they is still one who pisses me off saying, "You are a Malaysian, you should know how to differentiate these festivals". KNN! As if he would know what we are doing on the 7th day of the lunar january. Or why we eat rice packed in banana leaves instead of eating it with curry.
Anyway, I went back early today like my usual routine. I'm glad to see that everyone I've pass the greeting cards to bring back the greeting card happily with them. Mr J even gave me a handshake eventhough he is no longer managing the same production line.
Lesson Learnt: A simple gesture of respecting other's religion can bring you happiness. "Giving is better than Receiving", the ability to give proves that we are capable and lucky, and we should thank God for that.

ryc: actually, i did use the healing to remove cables, what a coincidence! if u look closely at the pic of the house with wooden balcony and hedge, u can see the faint outline of the cables in the sky..lol...
great minds think alike, eh?
it's a small bird eating a tadpole-frog.
Here's the life cycle of a frog, just to refresh our Alam Sekitar subjects. http://www.infovisual.info/02/img_en/029%20Life%20cycle%20of%20a%20frog.jpg
