Playing with new inspiration

around the world front cover

Have been thinking of wut to do with my ideas. Got the idea of making an album cover from josh gorban's 2nd album as well as christina aguilera's stripped album. As for the texts, do read it carefully. It's in mandrin. For those of you who don't understand, do page me.

If and only if someone like to have a full size picture of it, send me a message, i'll create my own wallpaper for you. Haha... enjoy my friends.

Jokes Page

Well, i've added about 60% of my jokes collection i've received from forwarded mails. I've shared it out in the form of a blog as it's considerably easier to handle for my lack of skills. Anyway here's the address neohjokes.blogspot.com

Btw...looking around for a squash racquet last nite. Can't really find a huge variety anywhere in Penang. Most of the shops only display a piece or two. Best bargain i got is in Midlands Park RM129 "FREE" 3 balls. But not yet buy cos don't even know how i'm goin back to melaka next week. If go back wif parents it'll be jolly good.

I've been browsing the web as well. Read these few stupid hillarious articles. See if you guys agrees with me or not.

    Sex Blog. huh?

Here's wut i've been doin for the past 2 days. Tried learning PHP but the mood doesn't seemed to be there. Can't really learn properly without a broadband connection as i've always being concern about the telephone bill that i'm goin to get at the end of the month.

Juz learnt that the current trend nowadays is not to click your friend's blogs one by one but instead using atom(XML) or RSS readers. It's a method for people to load multiple blogs/pages into a single reader. It's similar to downloading your emails into Outlook Express. You can read it offline after that. Blogger.com is using atom instead of the more popular RSS. But it doesn't matter much to me as it's not yet widely used in my place. Webfeeds, as it's called is widely implemented. Currently RSS is used in CNET as well as php.net

Btw...blogs are not only meant for keeping in touch wif our friends or raise out our opinions. When i was googling for David Beckham's Scandal, i found that the Sex Business also goes into Blogging. You can check one of it out at Your Dirty Mind. They have daily updates from their referals as well as some brief photos and links to other XXX websites. This doesn't mean that i'm a pervert or wut. Btw...juz to warn u ppl out there. It's really an adult site!!! Not for those underaged.

Oh yeah, i've been playing around with fotopic.net for the past few days. Finally manage to publish some photos on my blog thru their servers. Hopefully no one imitate my style. Cause fotopic.net only allow up to 1000 direct links per day from the same server ( in this case blogger.com). Good news is that i've never encounter such problem for the past few days. Hopefully the service will remains until i find another FREE webserver.

Anyway...i've placed an icon on the Right hand corner of my blog. For those of you who prefer XML @ RSS, do click on it for the link.

    Taking Lives

    Wild Things 2

    Taking Lives

    Sex and the City

Watched 3 movies today. Started with Wild Things 2, followed by a chinese movie The Beauty and the City. It's kinda boring like...there's nothing new about those movies. Same old plots and same old story line.

But, the one that i watched at night, Taking Lives is not that usual. It's a detective, FBI sort of movie. Really use up a lot of mistery and thinking. It's played by Angelina Jolie, Ethan Hawke and some others.

    Synopsis:
An FBI profiler (Jolie) is summoned to help out Canadian law enforcement in Montreal, to hunt down a serial killer who assumes the lives and identities (hence the title) of the people he kills as he travels across North America (Hawke plays a museum employee "deputized" into helping the effort to find an art professor wanted for stealing several priceless works of art, who turns out to be the serial killer in disguise) [courtesy of Golden Screen Cinemas]

Worth watching...you guys should spend ur weekend watching. Good night

    Living Buddha in Penang

Juz came back from watching the Crystal Relics in Penang's Moral Uplifting Society. The have a display of more then 5,000 Crystal Relics @ 舍利子. These Crystal Relics are only found in the ashes of monks who have already gotten enlightenment after years of training. It's quite a nice display compared to their other displays in Singapore and some other countries. There's even one which can float on the water, as well as a few others who have various color and sizes. And guess wut? It's FREE!!!

The bad thing is that some people believe all these Crystal Relics are holy and actually pray them!!! I heard that this is a gimmic done by the organizers to earn money for their own organization. It's like, if you want to bring a unit of Crystal Relics back to 供养 or worship, then you'll have to pay an amount of around RM 5,000. People that go there also are asked for donations. Imagine how much money they'll collect in a day if a visitor pays only RM10 in average. The que starts as early as 9am and the que will go all the way to the far end when the doors are open. Hm...worst thing is, they ask ppl to 皈依 or smth like buddist version of baptism. And they din explain it clearly. Irene and her parents almost got into the trap. But i've managed to cancel all those as they are not really prepared for it yet.

Anyway...here are a few pictures i manage to take. Cos i don't really have time to focus and take the shots, you can juz see some blur pics. I'll try to obtain some from the VCD i got from the display. See your luck pals.

    Installing PHP

I always tot that installing a software is juz next-agree-next-next-next..... but installing PHP take up my whole day!!! I'm kinda impressed by the installation. I used to laugh at those ppl taking Information Technology to spend weeks researching on the software before installation. Then only i realise the problem.

To instal PHP, i need a server. I planned to instal ISS from microsoft during my installation of Visual Studios, yet i left my XP installer back in Melaka. Then today when i tried to install PHP, a friend in mIRC suggest that i install Apache instead. Problem now is that how can i disable it everytime i startup. It does consume my RAM i suppose. Is there anyway i can disable it on startup?

But all in all, i'd like to thank uzyn for introducing me to http://internetmaster.com/installtutorial/, a tutorial to teach us how to install Apache, PHP & MySQL. It's quite a good site, juz that i can't install some of the components. Maybe it's due to my lack of experience in computer language. Hm...i'll have to polish my skills on that. Okey, now that i've succeeded in installing PHP, i'll try to work on a simple program.

    Back in Penang! YeaH!!!

Hey guys!!! I'm back in Penang finally. Over slept in the bus for the first time. aH...din get to see the night view of Penang island on my way back though. When i was awake, i've already arrived at Gelugor.

Anyway... got quite a good time today. Slept till 1.30pm and i don't even realised it. Promised dad to go for a jog but din manage to get up myself. Anyway, go do prayers and thanking god for the good fortunes and luck, as well as the wisdoms HE gave me. Learnt smth about prayers today:- "which is that i've to mention my name when i pray". I'm not sure about other taoist and buddist, if you have any other praying tips to get god results, do share it wif me. My results ain't that good all this while

Spent sometime in MPH, reading thru PHP, MySQL and some ASP. There are books on digital cameras as well. Dun know when only i can decide to buy a new camera. Hm..there are so many models around but...for my budget here are a few that i'm looking at Olympus C-750, Canon A80, Canon S1 if there are any suggestion on a camera which is at this range of prices, do let me know.

Hm...let's see...oh yeah. Got to eat a nice bowl of Chendol in Penang Street. It's juz a corner shop besides the drain. But...that's the type of hawker food that's famous in Penang. Nxt time if you ppl come, i'll bring you there to eat. Even PCK from Singapore oso went there to eat wif his Rosie. There are photos taken as well.

Bought Visual Studios.net but can't install as i've left my other windows installers back in melaka. HOpefully there are some friends who can lent me back in Penang. That's all for a day. Good night world, don't think i'll blog that much dy~since i don't have streamyx in Penang

    Trip to Genting

Well, juz came down from Genting Highlands. Have quite a smooth trip. Took a bus to KL y'day then decided to take a taxi up to Genting Highlands as we have to wait for 3 hours for the next bus. Good decision as we saved up a whole afternoon waiting and do nothing. When we arrived it's only around 2.30, juz in time for my lunch. Ended up in First World hotel again as the others are a bit over our budget.

Anyway, in short this trip is quite satisfying except a short miscommunication with my gf. I did plan to come directly back to Penang after the Genting trip. But becos she don't like packing, i ended up spending a full day in Melaka again waiting for her to pack. After coming to think about it, it wasn't that bad goin back to pack another day. As i've got the chance to go eat the famous "duck mee" and also see yishu's new IXUS II which she got it for RM1550 in Mahkota Parade.

It's like there seems to be less conversation between her and me and more miscommunication arises. To her, it's normal for ppl that have been together for quite some time. But i prefer verbal communication as it'll have some distortion and miscommunication when assumptions went wrong. Hopefully some good outcomes will heal this problem of mine.

Btw...we made a pleasant trip and also manage to bring her to Time Square, Jalan Imbi. No more shopping quarrels though. Happy bout that. Fortunately din go to KLCC after that, if not my face will be black again, u know how much i hate shopping. Oh yeah, there's FCUK outlets in Debeckhams, yet there ain't much choices. The shirts are the same price you got from Australia, so Bernard, no need mah fan you bring back those shirt for me nxt time.

Sometimes i juz felt like i made the wrong decision, i should go to Redang Islands with my friends instead of goin Genting Highlands. But, who can go back to the past? "the decision made is the best decision" so...juz have to get along with wut i have now.

Btw...here is one of the picture of the fire that happened in Genting Highlands on my way back to KL from Genting. Hope you ppl like it.

    Control Theory, anyone taking supplimentary???

Man!!! my papers are becoming harder and harder. I tot i've finished studying the past year papers and tutorials is sufficient, but too bad when i look at the paper today....i'm like reading a foreign language. There are so many odd and weird questions coming out. Trying to play around with everything i know, and juz spit out wherever i can. Hopefully Rao , Nirod and Dr Tan will be so kind enough to let me pass, or better give me at least a B. Please.

Yeah!!! That's the last paper i got for this trimester!!! Finally can have some rest already. Not feeling well in the afternoon so juz took quite some rest.

At night, they ask for dinner in "Carry on". I've been so free that i decide to cycle there. CYCLE yeah~! that's the way i love to do. Cycling for juz a mere 40 minutes to reach Mahkota Parade. My friends juz can't believe me doin that. But isn't it a norm for ppl in the olden days to cycle that far. Maybe after "civilization" ppl tend not to exercise that much.

There's smth to mention about the "Carry On"...we've spent around RM250 there, goin there in 2 dozen. But they are still that calculative to add another RM10 to our bill for not finishing the "mee goreng" that i cooked. It's juz that small bowl... hm... can't blame those ppl. If they are inteligent enuff, they'll have not work there rite?

When i cycle back, my 3rd leg crammed!!! Luckily with my normal routine, i can manage to come back to Bukit Beruang without any injury. Hehe....lucky me. Thanks to the "lucky charm" i bought during CNY

    I Miss You YiShu...

Well, it's already the end of another academic year. It feels bad to see people leaving to enter the working world while I still have to continue studying. Well, met this housemate of mine only for about half a year, fond memories are also limited. After graduation, not sure these people will still come back to Melaka to visit or not. Ah well...seems like my "emotional" side is coming out dy~hehe... I know a lot of gals wanna see me cry. But no way!!! i'm not crying!

Well, juz talk a bit about yishu jie jie for the last time in the blog. (Hope this is not the last lah). She's one year senior from KL. Well, kinda boyish but friendly and helpful i can say. Used to bully her quite a lot. Asking her to bring me around makan makan as well as fooling around with her friends. We kinda get along well quite fast. S.H.E. hardcore fan, hm...wutelse ar? She's the type of ppl that actually likes to sit down and debug programmes. I can't believe ppl really love programming so much that take it as a "hobby". Ah well...

She helped me a lot when i've faced problem with Irene, as well as when i've anger to release. Seems like she sacrificed a lot of time listening to my "flirtatious" skills and also stunts. But what i'm glad is when she have problem once with her programming, she asked me out for a walk and expressed all her disatisfaction and fustration. Well, no one is perfect, hence it's a compliment that we help each other when we have problems.

The list of friends who are also leaving me includes: -

    • Kate @ khai ling ( yishu's roommate);
    • johnny yap (irene's housemate @ my ITC friend back in alpha);
    • Ng Mei Yeen ( my HR director @ good friends back in alpha);
    • Chai Yee Wee ( ITC friend as well)
    • Gan Show Peng ( attn: ur C programming notes are still with me);
    • Rosalind, Mo Guai, Rong Ming.... ( yishu's friends)
    • Yee Huei & gang.... (those i know thru mei yeen)
    • Jyh Yian @ Mrs. Schuey ( ah ren's gf who is goin to cyberjaya)
    • ........... and the list goes on

Hope you people will do well in your future undertakings. And do remember Ah Neoh nxt time u become rich and famous. :P Friends Forever!!!

p/s: Besides that, all my current gamma FIST "girl friends" are also going for industrial training next year. That also includes my Irene. She'll be goin back to Butterworth, Penang for that. Well, i'll be "single" for the next 4 months. See wut will happen.... wait and see lah~ ;)

    M@rimo is moving out

Well, heard from her a few days ago that she's goin to move out with Corn. Well, I'm okey with the idea since her house is quite packed. Imagine 4 guys squeeze into a room. Anyway...hope that she'll not regret moving out from her current housemates lah. Missing all the fun, parties and stuff.

I've actually went and have a look at her new place. It's quite spacious compared to her current house. And more hygiene as the building itself is a 2 and a half story "teres" house. Btw...she's staying with 5 boys. 2 gals 5 boys... hm... shouldn't be a problem in a conservative Malaysia i guess.

Ok...here goes... I din do really well in my Maths IV paper. But it's not till the stage where i'll have to take supplimentary papers. Juz that i can't improve my CGPA. :( sad case... When i calculated, there's a lotta marks gone, cos i've been bz playing around with other questions.

Tried a typing test at typingtest.com. Can't even reached the 70WPM line. Wonder how uzyn reach up to 101WPM. Anyway...do try the typing test when u're bored. It's better then the shark game that i used to play in Yahoo!Games.

Never leave you keys at home

I will never leave my keys at home
I will never leave my keys at home
I will never leave my keys at home
    ..........X 100

Dang! Seems like i got it myself laughing at yiling who sits on her own glasses. Now i got it back. Not sure if she curse me or wut. Aih~ That's why...nxt time if you ppl wanna laugh at ppl...remember that u'll get it back someday.

Okey..here goes. I was studying half way when i feel like eating Chicken Rice Balls ( Melaka Speciality ). So i din even think of bringing my own keys out. Juz bring the keys hanging in the living room which is sufficient for me to get in and out of the house. I was so excited that i overtake a couple of cars when i was cycling to Jaya Jusco.

I even hang around lepaking since i have a lotta time for my "recess time". Mana tau, after buying everything, only i realize that i forgot to bring my keys for the bicycle. WTF!!! How am i suppose to get back? 1st i tried to call Irene, hopefully she can bring me the keys since she have the spare. Too bad that gal is so blur that she din pick up the call and left me waiting like a dumb-guy-that-walk-2.5km to buy dinner for her. Then yishu pulak is on her way back from Seremban. Impossible that i wait for her to giv me a lift rite?

Hm....end up walking back from Jaya Jusco back with my slippers. A RM10 japanese slippers that have 2 stripes on it. It's so painful!!! Walking with those slippers for such a distance. Luckily when i walk back i saw Daniel (She's a alpha gal, cute chick!!! S.A.S.A some more...if you guys are intrested ;P ), and also a few other frens like Johan and my housemate Wong. All my temper relief after 40 minutes of torturing journey back.

By the time i reach home, my legs have 2 very obvious stripes...juz like those you got when u kena rotan by your teachers during ur school days. It's so painful even now... aih~wut an unlucky day. No one for me to blame, all my fault.

    Happy Birthday to Neoh

Yeah, it's my birthday today. Got a couple of valuable gifts from my friends. My classmates have gave me an Addidas analog watch which is quite nice. I love it guys!!! Ah yeah...and Shiau Fei also came down from TARC KL juz to give me a present. How kind of her...but i've waited until today only open the Monkey magnetic decoration lah...Thanks guys. Oh yeah... thanks to jinq, lincoln, changwah, teck loong, ccw....and a whole list more who have send me greetings thru SMS. I really appreciate that.

I've already been 22 years old. Yet i still feel nervous and tensed every time when April Fool's day almost past. I remembered 2 years ago i told shiau fei that i wonder if anyone remembers my bday or not. But once the clock strikes twelve...my mailbox is fully poped with SMSes. Can't believe i've already have such a great ring of frens. Cos...used to being alone during Secondary.

Anyway...sad thing is that i'm not feeling really well today as i was caught in the rain these few days. Caught a cold due to that i suppose. Hm....sleep so much oso no use...

Thanks again for those who remembered. I'll try to remember each and everyone of you and ur birthdates as well. :P

    Happy April Fool's Day

well, there might be still a large group of ppl still can't get over with leslie cheung's jump off a hotel last year this date. But for others it's been a great day to play sprank on others.

Hm...one of the worst i see is a forwarded memo from cyberjaya. They can even play with the decease of our yang dipertuan agong. Mentioning the cancellation of exams during this particular date. Can't believe that ppl actually wanna play till this extent. Luckily no one was taken into custody. I'd like to apologize for those who've received the memo from me. Juz fooling around i suppose.

Anyway...nothing much today except that haven't been studying much since i've got a week's gap between 2 exams. Hopefully i can work harder the following day lah...

    Library-My second home

It has already become a norm for us in MMU here to see ppl patroning or living in the library especially when finals and midterms are just around the corner. Besides eating, sleeping and bathing, practicaly most of the people will be living and studying in the library.

As far as i know, MMU provide the longest library open time among the other few local universities. Well, TARC students might be proud that they have their library open till 10pm at night. But for MMU, our library open from 9am in the morning till 12am midnight. So, a lot of hardcore bookworms will be here for the entire open hours. Our library used to be open till 3am in the morning. But i'm not sure why they decided to shorten the opening time. I'm kinda miss studying till 3am. It's really a torture...but helps in my studies.

Besides a quiet air con room to study, there are also ppl that visit the library for different purpose. One most obvious one is to see pretty gals walking and studying in the library. This is smth you don't have if you're studying alone in your home sweet home. It's an eye opener i might say...most benificial when you're almost knocked out due to tiredness. A glimpse of a leng lui can be more effective then 10 bottles of red bull. :P (btw...staring at womens breasts also helps lengthen our lives, as a research shows :) )

Oh well, have been in the library for the past few days working on my technical communication and data communication papers. Kinda disapointed when i've done the wrong question for the data comm. Hopefully my results won't disapoint me.
