I look so pale!

Irene was asking for a photo of my hair style. Shouldn't have delayed it so long. Have meen worrying much hence u can see how pale my face is skipping meals and hardly sleep much. Ah well, this down period hopefully will end soon. Well, here's the picture.

Something to cheer computer geeks up. You people know about Feng Shui right? Maybe we should place our bus cards, and PC slots according to Feng Shui to improve the performance of our computer. Here's the picture.

Beware of this Scam

I got to know a friend that join this system. I hope that the other's won't be cheated. For those who have being cheated, please don't take revenge by cheating others into the system. Careful when you're trying to earn fast cash. People these days are really cunning. Better double check on the existance of a "company" before placing your money down. Good day my friends. Be warned.

Kindly beware of the following scam below: ================================================================= Dear sir, I just came back from Malacca for the convocation. When I met my friends in Malacca, I heard about a company. My friend came to visit me with 2 agents and they began to introduce the company to me. It is a plan where you have to come out RM2500 as the investment. They will give you a set of gold coins which is for memento such as Mother Theresa as the face of the coin. If you introduce your friend to join, until certain stage, you will gain certain amount of money in USD. It is so shocked to find out that many students in MMU joined this scheme. It seemed that the gold coin is not worthing that much, but they just simply circulating the cash by asking more people to join in this scheme. My opinion is this pyramid scheme is not reliable and I am really worry that there will be more MMU students falling into this prey (although they are willing). The students can earn extra income but it seemed not a safe way because when I mentioned about the tax, the agents said they can help us to open a swiss account where only gold quest member can have. It means helping the students to do something agaist the law besides earning extra income. The plan they laid for me is very irresistable cos they claim that if you work hard you will earn RM300k ++ WITHIN 10 MONTHS. They kept saying that you no longer worry about your PTPTN as you can pay the debt with the money. My letter to you is try to gain your attention on this matter. After my other friend and I calculated the percentage, we found that 87.5% of people joining this plan will lost. Those earning will be the one who keep introducing new comers to the plan, which is very rare case. Of course I am not asking MMU to ban this activities among the students ( if you search online, it is ban in US ). I just hope that MMU will take effort to investigate on this matter and educate the students on the pros and cons of it. After all, if they still join, we can't say anything anymore. But we should save those naive students. Thank you for reading this mail. I hope MMU will do something for it. The wave is in both campus already and soon will overwhelm the whole MMU." ================================================================= Thank you for your kind attention. Regards, CITS 2

Choki - Choki

Feeling a bit perverted last night when yyeejen was talking about his goodbye before leaving for cyberjaya next trimester. Well, no one was really serious during then, even the birthday parties that are supposed to be discussed on the "conference" was also being neglected. Ah well... these are how engineering students like me acted when we don't have assignments due the very next day.

Juz finish "blog browsing" through all the friends in my list. Seems like juz a few people who are still active. That's aspected from normal people who doesn't dedicate their time to the web.

Alright, you people must have heard about Choki-Choki the liquid chocolate sticks that we took since primary school. Well, this Schuey likes it so much that she has been requesting his lou kong (my friend) to get her loads of it. Hm... so suddenly tot of a perverted 4 line poem. Hope you din read this after your meals ya. Vivien read it 5 times to understand what i'm talking about. As for those that yet to understand, please let me know.

'Being a choki-choki in your hand,
You stare at me and says, "You're my man".

You open my zippers & squeeze me hard,
Till every drop of me melts your heart.'

One down, 2 to go

Happy Birthday Koh Seow Kern before i forget, i'd juz wish u a 22nd bday. Kinda forgotten when i meet you in class just now. Anyway...this is the "bday" season again. There's a few more other Leo friends who's gonna have their bday around this time. Hope they don't tear a hole in my pocket will do.

Yeah, juz passed up an assignment this morning. Haven't really reach the page number that is required by the lecturer. But hopefully it's sufficient for me to get some marks for the hardwork that i've done. Juz wondering how come there are people who can start working for 8 hours straight for this paper and finally made it on time. People like Josh, Aaron and Ashwin...go thru the night just to make a 15 full pages while i was relaxing dunno doin wut.

Well...can't think of anything much to write these days. More into poetry i suppose. Trying to play around with words, and see wut rhymes and what not.

Working on my guitar as well. Erm...it should be chyoli's actually. Trying to find the tabs on David Tao's Katrina, but it doesn't seemed that the web freaks are interested in this artiste. Feel like listening to David Tao's song these few days. People says Listen to the music of your heart. That's what i'd like to express with the songs i'm listening to...different mood different songs.

Yesterday went to "wait" for YiShu's convo. It's so boring. She even asked me to baby sit her F2 sister. Well, it doesn't sound that bad after all. Her sister is quite friendly and it's not hard to keep a F2 gal still on the chair for 3 hours. She even teaches me how to fold grasshopper with the leaves. But...wif my limited talent on handicraft, i can't even make a nice grasshopper.

The convo is so packed and every graduate is only allowed 10 seconds of fame. Well...that's what we get after studying for 5 years in MMU. Isn't every convo the same? I'm not sure.

Well, dun think i'll be blogging much for the next month or so. Finals are coming and...oh well..

I'm so relaxed now...

It's good that i've rush like goin to hell and back again for the past weeks. Now that the dateline is almost approaching, i've never been so relaxed before. Just left with conclusions and some alignment problems then it's ready to be submitted.

About the J2ME project, finally figured the way around thanks to Hui Yan and Ah Siong. Both of them should have spent a lotta time working on the project while i was working on my other assignments while hyuei is having his tests.

Since there's no frens free for the weekend. I should be goin for wushu and my tai chi classes tomolo like usual without a miss. Then i'll go for yishu and khai ling's graduation. Haven't seen yishu jie jie for quite some time, wonder how she looks like after being poured wif loads of love from William.

Why am i so free for the past 3 years?

I wonder what i've been up to for the past 3 years. Why can i afford to find time for ENGSOC, ITC, Adolencenza among the few that i've been actively participate in. This trimester there's nothing which consumes my time. Irene is not around here to take away pak tor time, there's no flirtatious targets for me as well. Neither is there any activities that i hold responsible in. I should be quite free am i right?

Tried to read up to improve my academic results. Yet I don't even see the slightest improvement on my results. I barely passed the 1st 2 midterm papers i took while Josh on the other hand hav improved tremendously after quitting activities. Issit the technique i use to study? Or issit that i've reached my limits of study?

I can't even find extra time to blog anymore. There's only one post every 3 days now. Can't really find time to play with my new camera as well. Wushu has already taken up all my sundays i suppose. But i can't blame Wushu as it's part of the exercise i needed. My squash racquet also feels a bit lonely behind the wall nowadays. Pity him.

Yet, wut i've learnt after my long broncitis cough is that i've disiplined myself to sleep at 12 and wake up at 7.30. I feel more attentive with this kinda habit and i seldom late for 8am classes already. (besides ECP tutorials that juz can't make me wake up)

Boring weekend

There's Bon Odori, and there's King Arthur. Spiderman 2 is still on screens. But i jz dun feel like goin anywhere. This weekend is kinda boring, started the day reading up for the GSM assignment, then comes the assignment for Wireless Networks to read up on. End up reading thru some MIDP 1.0 for my J2ME project, yet it seems to go nowhere.

I'm so bored that i've broken my Minesweeper record for at least 10 times yesterday. Here are my new scores:
  • Beginner: 4 seconds
  • Intermediate: 41 seconds
  • Expert: 142 seconds

Luckily at night there are some people to chat with. If not it'll really a boring boring day.

    Shit...everything needs money!!!

No free meals in this world. Now i know why. Even wanting to find resources for my assignment paper is also a hell lot of job.

Okey...for the past few weeks, there's some problem with the Campus Server. Okey...i don't mind they trying to upgrade the stupid website into a more "interactive" one, yet the did not actually upgrade the connection availablity. I think they should spend more money subscribing another few extra T1 (1.544 Mbps) lines. As well as upgrade their database key in systems so that there won't be congession and cwnd traffic to bother about especially during course registration.

Alright, now the system is okey, the new interface is up. Got to download those papers that i was longing for. Then another trouble coming in... European Telecommuncations Standards Institue (ETSI) and ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union- Telecommunication Standardization Sector) wants me to pay to get their recommendation paper for H.323. It's so ridiculous!!! Those institution are suppose to help the society in general, getting sponsors to support them and not to ask students to pay up. Aih~ how should i solve this problem?

Telecommunication experts out there. If you have a copy of this file please send me. ITU-T Recommendation H.323 (07/03)Approved in 2003-07. I'd gladly belanja you a meal rather then spending the money on a PDF.

Feel better after releasing all these in words. Alright then...back to my research. Wish me luck!

    Tuesdays with Morrie

This is actually a book by Mitch Albom. A book about an old man, a young man, and life's greatest lesson. Thanks to Siew Ling from my class to share this book with me. It's really a story that everyone would like to share. I'll tell u the lessons i've learnt from the book before i tell u about the publisher.

The book talks about an old professor dying of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), Lou Gehrig's disease, a brutal, unforgiving illness of the neurological system. It takes away life slowly and the suffering will want you to call for quit before u actually die. But he din give up when he knows the news, he appreciate what's left with him and he goes on with his life as usual. Admiring the leaves outside the window changing colors, being thankful of the friends that visits him. And during his final days, he even appreciate a good massage on his toes, and a wipe on his ass.

From what he says, people always go and struggle for what the think they want, but we should always rest on what we need. We need to wear clothes, we want Gucci. We should instead spend more time appreciating what we have and LOVE. LOVE always wins. That's why... dying is not really a problem if you never regret on what you've done in the past. You'll not want to go back and be 16 again. When you're 20, you've a 5 yr old in you, u've a 12 yr old with you and you also have a 20 yr old in you. So you have no reason to live 16 again.

Everyone needs a teacher guiding you. And this book is a teacher to me. Morrie is someone i like to be, listening to people's problem, paying full attention to the problem and with my own experiences, trying to help those in need. That's my part in the society, or at least in my group of friends. That's the purpose of this blog as well, to Learn and Share. I've never quit blogging this far as Learning and Sharing is a journey, not a destination. I hope that my readers will live and grow with me. Being together means friendship never dies.

Alright, i think i've raised ur interest to get this book. YiLing @ Cirnelle also finished this book twice already. She should say smth about it as well. I've only read it once, but i'll read it again once i found the book in the stores. It's a good present as well since the government is encouraging a reading society.

Here's the Publisher - DOUBLEDAY ISBN 0-385-49649-4. Hope u guys enjoy the book.

Here's a flash that talks about a guy who came from a problematic family and have to get into jail. It'll take some time to load. << Life's a struggle >>

    Power Systems

Haven't been posting much lately. And usually when these happens, it's either i'm rushing for me exams, or my assignment dateline. Have been trying to work on easier assignments myself, and i found out that it's better off for me as i won't need to cycle all the way to get answers late at night. Seems to me that sometimes being single have it's own benifits. Or should i say, when gf is not around, Haha...

Power Systems, the paper looks really easy, everyone goes out after 30 minutes. But it's risky, only final answer is taken into account. Which means the slightest mistake will not get any marks. Double checked the answers, hopefully i din make any errors lah. For Comm Net, i've barely passed hitting the 60 mark. Digital paper haven't release the results yet, hope i dun flunk in that paper.

Irene came back for the weekend. Too bad i'm having papers tonight and another on monday morning. Dun think have much time to accompany this companion of mine. Kinda pity her being so bored. Wut to do? Same case happens to me when i've to wait for her to finish work b4 go paktoring wif her at night.

Here's one hell creative way to play with your window's audio clip. Winnoise

    What i eat everyday?

Mom have always been asking me what i've been eating everyday. Hm... that's a tough question isn't it. What have you been eating everyday, hueng?. How did u answer ur mom that question when u go back hometown or when ur mom called? Or is my mom a bit odd? Pictures meant more then a thousand words. I've taken a few photos of my meals i've prepared by myself. Hope mom will be satisfied with my "answer".
    Bread & Soup
    Bread & Eggs

Well, wut about dinner? Well, this is a dish taught to me by a fren back in Penang called Khong Ai Lin. It's called Coke Chicken. I don't have Coke with me, so i substitute the "Soup" with Pepsi instead. It's very simple, chop the chickens, put in a can of Coke, and some soya sauce. Then boiled till the chicken chunks get well cooked.
    Coke Chicken 1
    Coke Chicken 2

Try it out. Hope u enjoyed it.

    RAHMAN

For some of you, u've been bored about my story about R.A.H.M.A.N. But for those who haven't heard my story about Rahman, here's a nice picture that i've created this morning. ENjoy it my friends. Vote for me in the next election. Haha....

    Good day my friends

Being Chin Chai = Kiam Siap?

I've been doin reading for the recent past. So there's nothing interesting to share with you as i din go out. Can't aspect me to write about wut i've been studying rite? It'll sound too technical and jargons will be questioned.

Anyway..here's an article on The Star Online i'd like to share. See who's kiam siap, and why it's good to be kiam siap. Lim Chia Fong shouldn't complain about me by now i hoped (complain about being kiam siap). This article proves me right. :D
  • Chin chai or kiamsiap?

  • Guess a link might not be sufficient for you. The one is for the girls. Where's the "G" Spot. It's a .wmv file so might take some time to load.

    Spiderman 2

It was such a nice rainy day last night. Just nice for study and sleeping. Good that there's a rain. Hopefully the visiblity in Melacca will be better.

Spidey 1Went and watch Spider Man 2 with Seow Kern today. Since he's looking for a companion, i juz accompany him there since i'm goin to watch the movie anyway. So juz the 2 lonely guys go for the movies. Before that, cycled to Carlsberg to exchange another jersey. Timed myself this time. Took approx 50 minutes to cycle to and fro Bukit Baru including the exchanging process.

There's quite a huge crowd again today. Not sure where these people come from. Don't really like to watch BlockBusters on the 1st few days is due to that. The cinemas are always packed and the people are so inconsiderate to talk on their mobiles during the show. This idiotic stupid old fella don't even know how to switch his moblie phone into silent mode. He should go back to kindergarden, studying with his 5 year old kid. These type of people are really pests to the society. There's also a bunch of uneducated malay rubbishes which doesn't know how to read their seat numbers and are forced to moved when the show started. DO you know how distracting these people are? Fasionably Late??? i don't think that is really a good way. Those people are not as famous as Linkin Park nor as important as Pak Lah. What gives them the right to practice being Fasionably Late?

Okok...about the movie, it's not disapointing nor yawning. 2 hours movies are just nice. Nothing much to comment on the movie since it's already well known. Worth the price of the ticket in my opinion. There are even some funny parts and also emotional scenes. But don't go and watch now. Go next week. This week bastards and bitches who have nothing better to do only go there to be "the first" and to tell others that "oh...i've seen spidey b4".

I've my reasons goin this week as next week will be packed with assignments and tests. I'm worried that Irene will be disapointed next weekend when she comes down and pay me a visit. Hopefully she'll get her schedule planned well and get to meet other friends to occupy her time while i'm having my papers. Wonder why those lecturers are so lazy. They should've made the tests before the break so that students can work on the assignments after the break. How unorganised the world have become. Time's up, back to books.

    Roo's Cellar with Irene

Having short yet pleasant 4 and half days with Irene. It's amazing how intimate the relationship can go when two people are apart from each other. To me, meeting once a month, or once every two weeks is juz nice. Not too much, not too little. But i'm not sure about the ladies.

It muz have been a tough time for her to rush to accompany me after her work everyday. Luckily her body is healthy enuff and not getting sick this time around. Should've post this earlier, i've been forgetting a lot of wut have been happening these days. Ok, i've went to get my new IC, and that's about all i can remember. It's been raining a lot during those days as well.

I'll better talk about Roo's Cellar when the memory is still fresh with me. Irene went to that place last week and found that the service, environment of the place is really those places which i like. Compared with Pubs, Discos and Bars...i'd prefer to meet up with people at a more quiet place where they play soft music and can have a chat all night long. Su Wei, Yi Ling, Bernard...if you guys love these types of places let me know. We go together when u people come back k? I've posted a few pictures on my fotopic.net account. Do take a look at them when u're free. I've shrunk the pictures to a reasonable size to save up bandwidth. Let me know which one is nice, i'll post the full size up. Forgot to take photos of the food....pai seh ya~hehe

About this place, it's serving set lunch for RM 12++ and set dinner for RM18++. But it's not expensive if u think that they are serving dinner with a glass of red wine. And there's a cellar full of wine for u to choose for if u want to buy a gift for someone. I got a bottle of wine for my dad for Belated Father's Day as well. It's RM 49. But there are cheaper selections as well as bottles ranging up to hundreds of dollars. So here's how to "set dinner" comes. Started with the normal bread & butter with fresh mushroom soup. Then after that is the Mixed Grill accompanied by Red Wine (the same type which i got for dad). Lambs are usually served on the ribs, which are so hard to eat and there's that awkward smell on it. But not for the one served here. It's really tender and soft. I can juz sliced it into pieces like a jelly. I tried the Mixed Grill while Irene opt for the Chicken Chop. Both tastes marvellous.

After the main course, there's this cakes, coffee/tea as deserts. The menu differes everyday to suit the customer's need. It's really a nice place to eat and it's not as expensive as luxurious hotel, and we don't hav to drive till Tambun to get good food. But the place looks really good. Enjoy the pictures my frens.

    Jusco Member's Day 2004

Today's another shopping craze day in Melaka. The parking lot is already fully parked at 10am in the morning when I am there. I went there with ah ren, josh, marimo & corn. It's actually a last minute thing since tian wei opt not to go so there's place for me.

So, there's so much discount all over that I don't really have time to see it all. There are even 70% off on Branded clothes. There are even "SAM" shirts selling for RM4.50 a piece!!! I'll show u wut I got myself later, now i'll describe a bit about the crowd. Everyone is storming around getting stuffs no matter old/young, chicks/hunks. Oh yeah, it's kinda rare case...but today really take a lot of eye candy, shopping/sales always proportional wif chicks! The bigger is the sales, the more pretty chicks will come out to shop. And they will forget about "lady like" or "politeness" during shopping. Gals...aih~

Anyway...planned to meet the gang at 12.30pm. But when the time comes, no one appears. It seems like everyone is lost/ addicted in the shopping spree. There is no mobile connection in the building as well. Can u believe it? For Communication students, we can say that all the "matrix switches" are occupied. There's always busy signal when I try to call out. I can't even receive calls from outside. I'm not sure if my Irene called me or not. Since I informed her about the discounts. While waiting for the gang, I got myself a sleeveless shirt RM 9.90 and also a Snails Original Shirt for RM26 (Retailed at RM 80). It's really a good bargain I can say. The shirt is really of the quality I like.

Lunch? Who cares about lunch when there's so much to shop for. But my stomach needs some food. So we took our lunch at McD's. I'm not sure if it's an offer meant to last or juz for today. We can actually get FREE REFILLS for our Coke with every purchase of a McValue Meal!!! Ah Ren is funnier, he wants a float with his Coke and the guy on the counter gave him one without the float. He makes the complain and the guy get him a new cup of coke with float and he keeps the previous cup of coke as well. Meaning that he can have 2 cups instead of one. He finishes his "small" fries then only realised that the size is suppose to be medium. Made a complain and he get an extra "medium" sized fries. So lucky of him...

Me, myself got a cart full of goods while josh, marimo and corn bought another cart. We only go back at around 4.30pm. Meaning that i've already spent 6 hours in Jusco for my 1st session. Was so tired, go back and took some rest. Then marimo suggested Tennis. Why not? haven't been playing sports for some time. So besides ah ren, the 4 of us went for Tennis in the evening.

Promised Bryant (my new housemate) that i'm goin to go Jusco with him for the 2nd round since i'm short of a few dollars to get another voucher redemption. So we cycled there. Mana tau cycle till halfway the paddle came down again. End up we've to park our bicycle in front of a clinic and walk there. Since we're walking we might as well ask Seng Kuang(another housemate) to come along. While waiting for him to walk out from the house, I paid the doctor a visit. Luckily there's one available at 8pm.

The doctor diagnosed me for mild bronchitis. Since my coughs always goes off quite late. I'm not sure how he knows it. But he must be good. Gave me some medicine and only charge me RM 15. (Thank GOD!) Not long after that Seng Kuang arrived and we walk our way to Jusco. That young mischief is really a fast walker. I have to do some running to catch up with him sometimes. He muz hav trained it up from the walks he take everyday since he's lazy to repair the punctured tire on his bike.

Spent another 3+ hours in Jusco at night. Initially planned to go back early, but Bryant met his frens there and he helped me to accumulate some extra points. So instead of getting a RM10 voucher, I've got 3 of those at night. Not a bad result huh. And after spending RM 250 ++ for the stuffs below, i've not being buying anything at night. Not sure how much JJ points i've collected today, but wut I know is that i've spent almost 10 hours shopping. That's the craziest thing i've ever do. SHOPPING. But only annually lah. Not weekly.
