To Kill or To Spare?

I've been reading quite a number of pitiful children that was born. Asking for donations from the public through media, and telling their pitiful story and sort. Some of the problems of these exceptional kids includes the following:

  • Neurological:Cerebral palsy ,Epilepsy
  • Orthopedic:Brittle bones ,Arthritis
  • Others:Asthma ,Heart disease

  • For more details of these exceptional kids here's a link.

Then i was thinking... there are so many children worth pity out there. But what if the 1st born of my own came out with physical disablities? Should i put him to sleep, or should i take care of him? There's an article on Help for special boy Sahazli [Star October 26], More help for Sahazli [Star October 30]. I respect this one outta most of the other kids. Getting good results and all. I pity her mom oso, carrying him to school everyday. I love kids, but i dun love them so much that i can take care of their special needs. But will I be willing to kill my own kid? Hm...

There are some people who doesn't know when to stop. No money yet wanna produce so many babies. Family to celebrate Raya in ex-goat pen. I dun think it's charity worthy lor these type of people. Anyway while i was having dinner with Irene, coincidental she was talking about yvonne's dog. The dog was sick and almost time to be put to sleep dy, and she was asking my opinion on wut i'll be doin if my pet got into similar case. Pets cases are not rare as well. There's this programme that I listen to on 988 every friday night. He can't study and always worry about his dog and stuff. Kinda funny and i was laughing all the way through the session. Though it's not good laughing at others, but i juz couldn't help myself.

To me, die mar die lor~Cruel as it may sound, i start worrying bout my future son. Let's name him Nesohu Junior (Short for Neoh Song Hui) or smth like tat. Haha...wants him to continue my NESOHUISM. haha...Hopefully he came out normal, like the other 90% of the other children. Technology improvements should reduce the chances of impairments i hope.

    no updates = updates ???

What can i share in a blog huh? I did nothing but eating anime for the past 3 days. No day no night, juz sitting there and watch. Actually can finish in 2 days if i didn't wake up at 1pm and fell so weak for the whole entire day. It's called HunterXHunter, quite an old one which suits the story line that i like - adventure. Rather then the Gundam Series, too sci-fi for me dy. Not enuff money to buy CDs to burn oso lah.

Anyway, here are juz some links for you people to read up rather then spending a boring one-subject-trimester.

Btw...for the Tripod, erm i mean Pentapod...it's quite cheap. I bought it for 80 cents. And drill it wif the drill we have in our labs. It's quite stable and dun worry of getting ur camera spoilt. I've tried it wif mine

    Anti Celebration "Theory"

Anniversaries and Birthdays, do we actually have to celebrate them? Ok, to remember an important date, show our appreciation or respect. But I suddenly think otherwise.

What happens during the time of Adam and Eve? Or even the good old days when seconds and minutes are not being introduced. When people haven't learn astronomy, have not learn about calendar. How does the people during then show their love?

My point here is that we do not need to wait for a particular "special" day to show our love to our partner. Neither shocked when we suddenly receive a bottle of stars, filled with love messages in each and every one it. NO!!! No reason is needed to ask a friend for a hug, neither do we need a reason to call back home just to say, "I love you mom". But how many of us does that?

We wait, wait and wait for a special date, a particular time, a specific place. There's a story where I came up with earlier on…
    Wait,
How long are you going to wait,
For the arrival of that special day,
To open the bottle of Chardonnay,
kept in old oak for over two decades.
Come to think about it, maybe this is not a good example. I actually modify it from a forward mail. The original story goes like "Adam found a nice gown that his wife, Eve hides in the closet. Every time he asks why Eve doesn't want to wear that gown, she replied she wants to wait for a special day. Years passed and Eve died in an accident and the gown is still kept inside the closet. " So, do you think it's worth the wait? Even the bottle of wine might be broken, stolen, or turns bad after all those years right?

By now you must be wondering what I hate so much about anniversaries, birthday and other celebrations? Why huh? People are supposed to be happy during those days right? I'll be happy if I don't forget to attend, or to celebrate it. But it'll create problems, quarrel, and other undesired moments when I can't make it, forgotten about it, or just feel like staying back at home during that particular day. I might be happy a day before, a day after, but not during there and then that I feel like going to party around. Couples out there!!! How many of you have been through the same problem? Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Well, just a fruit of thought.

I've got a whole group of friends who turns 21 this year. They make a whole lot of fuss about it. I dun understand why. People themed "Sweet 16" but when I asked around how they theme 21, no one even know o it simply DNE (does not exist). So, save up money my friends. Buying flowers are super expensive during Valentines Day, Convocation, Mother's Day, and the list continues. Being with someone you love, everyday is worth celebrating.

    Satay Celup Tragedy

Almost have to stay back and wash plates last nite. Went to have my dinner wif irene at one of the Satay Celup shop. Took just something like below 40 sticks, which costs us RM17.30 . When i flip open my wallet i was like,"shit, i only have RM5 in it." Then being a bit pai seh, asks if Irene have any money to spare. How did i aspect that she also only have a few one ringgit notes in her wallet. Summing up oso not enough to pay the bill. Argh!!! how careless can i go?

Luckily she knows how to drive. (Cause i'm not good at recognizing the roads around there). She managed to find an ATM while i was waiting in the shop. Decided to message fei to tell her the silly thing that i juz did. Her reaction is what i'll aspect from an old friend like her:- care, worried, concern and shocked. Well, sorry fei, for mentioning you in such a way. But that's wut a good friend is like: cares even when we're far apart.

Other news, got this alergy again. The itch caused by a dirty bed, and not taking a proper bath after sweating during training. Here are a couple of pictures that i've taken with the help of my tripod. You can see my back portion was so terribly infected even after applying cream on it. My hands oso got so much small red dots that's so damn itchy. But i manage to control myself not to scratch it. Hopefully it can recover soon enough.

Happy 1st Anniversaty to my blog

Without actually keeping track, I've already been blogging for a year and counting. Reading back the posts that I've made earlier, and those plain templates that i've been using back then. Thick or thin, sweet and bad memories, bloggie have been accompany me thru all those time. Managed to survive a bicycle accident, tonnes of assignment, tough exams, and problematic friendships.

I still remember being so egoistic and caused a lot of problems writing "too much" of nonsense. I even decided to shut it all off after just 2 months of blogging. Yet, i did not. I continue blogging and I feel that I've improved in the quality of my posts, and recording my growth from a 21-year-old to a 22-year-old.

"Haha...what changes can a person make in a year", you might laugh. But over the years, if not wasted, i've actually learn quite a few extra skills namely basic web development, digital photography, some beanie babies, and recently taking up reading. Getting to forgive and love my family among others. But, there's one thing that still havent' change a bit - my poor results. Aih~my student advisor was so worried for me not sure if i can get any placing for my industrial training next year.

Got up early today to get a good start. Bloggy my friend, happy anniversary and hope there's more to come.

    Family of Four

Hardly find a chance to find so much care and happiness in a phone call. Mom called last night and she started with the routine "taken ur meals?", "wut did u eat" and "does it rain in melaka". Then after that Qi came out and talked wif me about her plans after she finishes her exams on the 2nd of December. It's not an everyday thing that my sister wants to talk with me, and even talked happily.

Dad came out last asking about my plans for the weekend and talked about some current issues and what i've learnt from the papers. What i love about my family is that everyone is waiting for the phone at the same time, shouting at each other to get to talk with me. Or shouting at what they want to convey.

I came from a small family of four. But when we chat, the volume can be compared with a pack of six. I miss you guys back there. Qi, good luck in STPM!!!

    Music with Care Charity Concert

"For the sake of Children" is the theme. I attend this to try out my camera, as well as supporting my friend who's working on that event. Just like most of the events organised by Bumiputeras, the event goes an hour later then the planned time. Letting the people waiting outside the venue for an hour. The bands playing are really noisy, though I do admit that there are some talented players. I can still feel the banging long after I come out from the venue.

Anyway, realised a critical problem with my camera. When I was using the "fast" mode, the pictures can be capture w/o blur, and the colors does show up. But when I take a closer look on my monitor, I found out that all turn out to be very pixy and noisy. When I go and think about it, I only realised that with fast shuttler, the camera automatically change the ISO into a larger value of 200 or 400 (in dark places). My camera only works good for ISO value smaller then 200, which I've already know from the reviews and comments given by other users. Yet...aih~ Nvm, lesson learn. Photoshoped some of the pictures which makes it more acceptable. [Here are the pictures]

Here are some links worth sharing. Not sure who YuHeng is...but people studying in MMU should know. And this is a more serious case:- A "E-Commerce" company called Uptrend. It's quite wildly spreaded within my campus now. Not sure if it's really that popular in the other local university all over the Peninsular. Here's a complain link from our own neXT-Boards.

IMO, it's not really worth investing on these new schemes. Not juz because of the worry of pyramid scheme, but it'll be ruining friendship between friends (伤感情). Once join, u'll have to go and find people to join, and then getting rejected over and over again. The basic investment can go from RM300 to RM900+ and they say that you can get 4-digits earning if you're working hard to find new members. With such a large amount of money required, students used up the money from their loan, lend from their friends and sort. Yet they haven't calculated the risks, the time to get back their investment. It's not a profitable program, yet I'm not sure how issit possible for them to be that persuasive.

There's so many programmes and marketing plans out there. A lot of friends have joined for sure. What worries me most is that when long lost friend calls me out for a meal. It usually doesn't turn out like wut I've aspected (catching up with good old times). Now whenever someone wants to give me a treat, or even asks me out, I'll ask for the intention 1st, so that I dun waste their time, which they can spend with other "potential customers" instead.

FRIENDS, please do not ask me to join any marketing plans. Friendship can be ruin this way. Please, treasure our friendship. Want to find scape goat @ guinea pig, go and find new friends.

    Dahlia - Electric Failure

Was watching The New Police Story halfway when the whole house starts to black out. It's too hot to sleep in bed so i pull a mattress to the hall and sleep there. It's quite ok at 1st, but then mosquito come disturbing, next comes 2 cats. Can't things get any better? I'm not sure wut time did i fell asleep, but when i wake up, the candle is already burnt out. Maybe around 3 or 4 am in the morning.

    Malaysian Idol - Jac Won

Okey Jac won the 1st Malaysian Idol, so? Malaysian Idol, Miss Malaysia and other beauty pagent and contests. These are some of the shortcuts people take, or should i say paths taken to earn a place in the entertainment industry. Everyone's looking, but how long does the fame lasts? How long does they stay on the top?

How many of them still remember Macy Gray after she won so many Grammy on 2000? Anyone still know who Lina Teoh is? Huh? How bout Take That? Ok, these might be some of the more famous example. But their fame really goes down the drain after sometime. Are people so easily satisfied? Or are the people easily bored with them.

I'm not sure when Jac will come out with an album. But how many of you would really come out with RM40 to get an original. Or would the publicity be that great when she came out with an album? Hope her hardwork and talent pays up by the support of Malaysians.

Alright, enough of the Malaysian Idol thingy. Some other stuffs i find more intersting - owning my own island in one of the richest country UAE (United Arab Emirates). It's in Dubai, a place made famous by Burj Dubai. Now here is where they have a man made cluster of island called "The World". It's been built by the same concept as The Palm. "The World" is sound a good investment for business or leisure alike. Try download the advert (Windows Media Player , QuickTime) to have a good look into the future.

Angels and Demons - Dan Brown

Finished another 3cm thick title finally. I was so confident that i can control myself not touching the book when i got it in Popular. Thanks to Yi Chen for giving me the coupon that saved me RM8 on the book. Both us spent like almost RM100 juz on books. I can't finish the book in 3 days like how i finished the DaVinci as i was quite busy during the weekends with the visit from CF and PK, as well as the regular WuShu training.

3 to 4 sleepless nights i can say. Turn my biological clock upside down. Sleeping at 4 in the morning and wake up right on time for lunch. Now, after closing the book, my body still can't adapt to sleeping early.

Okey, write something about this particular book - Angels & Demons. Have you people seen ambigram b4? It's a type of art where if u flip it upside down, the word will still looks the same. I liked the pieces done by John Langdon for the book. So now u people know where the name Robert Langdon came from. This is the first book featureing Robert Langdon in the book. Hope there's more to come.

Like DaVinci, this book talks about Christianity and the plot is rather same. A person died in an odd method, Langdon is called in, then the adventure begins. What's different is that the story starts in CERN, Switzerland. It talks about a dangerous weapon, more powerful then nuklear warhead available - an opposite of matter: Antimatter. It releases energy with 100% efficiency (nuke fission is 1.5%). This antimatter creates no pollution and a droplet could power New York for a full day. U can imagine how disasterous this kinda energy will be if it drops into the wrong hands.

Then there's this Illuminati and it's Path. Which makes you running around circles around Vatican City (the smallest country in the world) and Rome. Here another nice one - Cern's X-33 plane. For more pictures, do visit [THE GALLERY]

    爱,错在哪里??? - Part 2

Seems like this book have gotten interests of some of my frens. Here's a summary @ Epilogue that is written by Send an Instant Message chyoli :

** due to the limited place this summary have been resummarised and zipped. Hope the readers will apologize.
** there's a new title by the same author. 20% off in Popular. Haven't check it out yet

Chia Fong & Phaik Kuan visiting

Two of our friends back in Penang came for the weekend. I'm not sure how they manage their time but they juz came for a day. Okey, like a friend used to teach me...don't say bad things for 21 days and u'll not tend to say bad things. So i'll just report what's nice and pleasant. Good thing is that there are a lot of places in Melaka that i've never or seldom visit. It's really a good opportunity for me to look around especially after i've got a new camera to capture. The things i see, the world thru my eyes looks really different at the same place.

Started kinda late as the 2 gals can't wake up. I'm not used to the fact that people go on holiday just to sleep in bed, different case when i was in Singapore in July. I was there w/o public transport, so only visit a few particular places.Ok,so i took them to Melaka Sentral 1st to get their tickets then got back home to change into some more comfortable wear. That's after having 鸡饭粒 at Jaya Jusco.

In the afternoon, there's Bukit Cina, where we go and visit Hang Li Poh's Well. According to what it's mentioned there, anoyone who throws coins into the well is said to visit Melaka again & again. But the government have sealed the top of the well now. I wonder why the government want to restrict tourists from coming back to melaka.

On the way to town, we stoped by Tan Kim Hock to get some "local delicacy". I can say, the things are rather expensive in that air-con shop. Right after that we go for A'Famosa, The Stadthuys around that area. Took some satisfying pictures over there. I'll recommend IMG_2090. Too bad the museum is closed. Most of the time when i wanna go there, it's closed.

Portugis Settlement was our next stop. Lucky me this time, it's dinner time, sunset right over the horizon. And there's a lovely couple there taking their wedding photos. Haha...used them as my Free model. The food there are rather good, just that i can't eat much without my usual buffet gang. It's not actually expensive if equally devided. It's more worth while if compared to taking buffet at some pizza house.

At night, there's no where else that i can think of for tourists and locals alike. So i bring them to Jonker Walk. Got fooled by some 打拳买药膏 guy. Say wut got into The Malaysian Book of Records only a method for him to earn money only, nothing more nothing less. Wasted my precious battery life as well as time. We end the day's trip at "炫" somewhere in Melaka Raya. It's a 名歌餐厅 but is presented in Rock. I like the guitarists, and the singer.

Tired, yet satisfied. [Here are the photos].

*During this outing, like most of the outings that me and Irene have been goin out with both PK and CF, I realised that there's a huge communication gap between Irene and both her friends. I'm not sure if it's me to blame, but it seems that when friends seldom communicate, they will have lesser things in common to chat about. Ah well, it's only like 5 years that they are away from secondary, and i've already seen such radical changed on their friendship.

    Stupid questions interesting answers

We know that sugar tastes sweet. But wut does sugar smells like?. "huh?", "Got Meh?" are the common answers i received. That's the discussion I was arguing with Irene over the night despite the fact that Chia Fong and Phaik Kuan is coming to visit the very next day. Actually the question is more obscure - "Armpit smells bitter?".

To me, bitter doesn't have smell. And the smell of armpit is not called bitter in anyways. So... i've decided to make a web search on this topic. Did you know that people can distinguish between 3,000 and 10,000 different odors? Our Olfactory System functions to detect and distinguish the smell. Click here for more details.

Then to make my statement more solid, i google for a complied list of chemical compound that emits odors. Only chemicals that emits odors @ particles can get into our nostrils, and being detected by our olfactory system. Those into chemistry, or wondering wut chemicals emits wut kinda smell, here's the link. [Chemical]

So it's proven that sugar produce the smell of ethanol, methyl 2-methylbutanoate, ethyl 2-me propanoate and so on. I've gave up chemistry for the love of physics. If not... chemistry might just be another way to describe the wonderful world that god have created. I'll better not talk too much about god, if not....it'll be another Angels & Demons (Dan Brown) day. But, there's no such odor called bitter.

Next, i go for another classical question. People asks "is there egg 1st or chicken 1st". My question is "do u pee 1st, or shit 1st". Another argueable question huh. To proof that my body works fine, here's the discussion. I do hope that you readers might just share more proof with me, biologically, or technically why is that so. I'm not good in biology (only got B3 for SPM), so please share with me, medics, chemists, farmacist.

    爱,错在哪里?- 何权峰

    没有爱,就不会有真正的幸福;
    有了爱,就不会有永远的不幸。
    当你一无所有,只剩下爱时,
    才会惊觉到其实有爱就够了。

That's the starting or beginning of the book. It really teach someone that never learn how to love or what is love to understand "Where Does My Love Go Wrong". I've just finished this book, the third this trimester i think... Here i'll list down some of the topic that are covered in the book that might interests you:-
    • 你到底爱不爱我?
    • 爱他,因为爱自己
    • 执著
    • 你负担不起的
    • 承诺能信吗?
    • 真正的拥有
    • 放手
    • 吃醋
    • 为他好

guess that should be enough to get things going. Retailed at RM 20. It's considered cheaper than many other books. No time to read? Impossible, i only take around 8 hours to read the book. It's juz 200 pages, and it's in mandrin, so for those of you who are chinese educated, it won't be much of a problem to flip through the pages and learn how to love.
