UCSI: Wushu Integration Day
It finally rainned last night. Something to be talking about i suppose. It's been dry and hot for a long time, and like what irene says, it's the cloud snapping pictures at us, showing how God cares about us, wonder how much more tears God needs to shread for our betterman.
Woke up at six and meet at the campus to catch an early bus to University College Sedaya International (UCSI), Cheras. I wasn't actually interested in the Integration Day activities, but to look at prices in LowYatPlaza. Juz take advantage of the trip to save up my travelling expanses. Have been doin some research about that area before going, just in case I get lost.
Turns out that UCSI is a new building with still a lot of unfinished lab and tutorial rooms. Even the lift is not functioning yet. But wut i like about the place is that their main hall, located in the fourth floor, is huge, covered with glass window, and is fully air-conditioned. There's even a gym on the fifth floor looking down to the main hall. As i can't wait for the event to start, i made a walk down to the streets to find the nearest LRT station.
End up took a taxi to Tasik Selatan station, which cost me only RM2.90. Cheaper then taking a taxi from Jaya Jusco back to Bukit Beruang. Those cheaters...they should implement metered taxis in Melaka soon. Can't just let those taxi drivers over charge right? Took another few minutes transit to reach Imbi station. Juz walked around from there lor~Pudu -> Berjaya Times Square -> Sg.Wang.
Tried to called Shiau Fei out for lunch, but too bad she's having an exam today. Good luck to you ya~! Anyway...tried to called YiShu jie jie next. What a coincidence that she's on her way to Low Yat Plaza as well to get some computer peripherals. So we agreed to meet there at 30 minutes time. I tot of walking around Sg.Wang Plaza for a while, mana tau end up lost inside the shopping center. What kinda bad sense of direction i have....
Haha...anyway, managed to meet her there in around 40 minutes later. I don't have much time to shop around as she came with her parents. I actually don't have much to shop around considering my tight budget. Only bought a card reader which costs me RM38. Found Transcend 1GB Compact Flash going for RM 330, but thinking twice weither to get it or not just yet. Cause i'm not urgently in need of it just yet. Go try out Archos Gmini as well, but it's too expensive for me just yet (RM2,200).
Luckily YiShu Jie is staying in Cheras area as well. So ask her to fetch me back lor, as i'm not planning to stay in that shopping complex for long. Have KFC with her and her parents near UCSI. I would like to say, her dad is really funny, have been talking jokes and silly silly stuffs all the way. It comes so natural to him, it's not like he forces those jokes out at all.
Back to UCSI, the performance are just...normal lah. Can't rate it too highly as it's just performance based event, and not a competition like the one held in MMU, Melaka few weeks back. One of the MC is quite cute, other then that, there's only a few other gals that caught the eyes of single guys out there. Photos won't be up that soon as i'll be having tonnes of assingment coming up.
Finished quite early and go straight back to Melaka. Stopped by KFC again, ARGH!!! decided not to eat there, just buy some mashed potatoes for Irene. Have to cover Talentime organised by SPARCS at night, details on the event will be posted later. Took around 500 pictures itself today since it's a packed day

Here's another picture for you to guess...what is the picture all about???
Finally, something in between EOS 300D (RM3600) and EOS20D (RM6000) that is at the price of the cheaper model, and packed with quite a number of features in the more expensive model. Canon did really put a lot of new features in this giant. Really eager to see it coming into our shores. Here's a link on

"Mr. Neoh Soon Hueng, you still remember me? Last time u always bully me one", say Tham. I was like..."huh? Who's this gal anyway?" Totally no idea how many peers i've been bullying throughout the years. After she introduce herself only i realised she's someone i nicked as "Geng Geng" as in a kinda prune or dates when we were in Primary. Went to the same tuition right opposite my babysitter's house.
