Happy Birthday May Cheong

One of my old buddy, someone hard to forget eventhough we only meet like once every blue moon. But at least I did get to meet her more than Cirnelle, who only came back to Penang once in a red moon.

24 year old liao, hopefully your life gets a happy turn this very year.

Anniversary @ Audees

It's a pity for anyone who became my partner. I'm so realistic and calculative that you won't get any surprises from me. Unless, you are someone who get used to being shocked all the time by my spontaneous decision making, and rushing you all the time.

Getting to know my mistake, took the opportunity at this special day to give her a surprise. Not actually a surprise, since most of the stuffs are being hinted and hinted for a very long time dy. It's been 4 years, over 1200 days that this very lady has being able to tolerate me being naive, stingy, rude, childish, cheating, releasing temper and make her cry and almost gave up. It is her, not me, who have been making this 4-year-old relationship works.

Paid a local florist to delivered a bouquet of flowers to her office, brought her some soft toy and drive her out for dinner is the least I can do to surprise her. Let's talk about Audees. It's a western restaurant which have the same concept as Roo's Cellar (for those who have been there before).

We were welcome by 2 waiters, and the supervisor leads us to our table. Since I made a reservation the night before, they kept the best seat for us. The set dinner came with a nice appetizer, soup and garlic bread. As for the main course, I have a fish while the lady had a chicken both are nicely done. Our dessert is ice-cream with fruits and since Mid-Autumn festival is around the corner, we have jelly mooncake on the house. The coffee is a bit bitter but that's the least of my complain.

Thankfully Irene ain't a demanding lady, I'm really glad that she enjoys the night. All my effort is well paid just by getting a simple smile for this chubby cute lady. May our relationship holding until the day we're hammered into the wooden box.

Choobee to, zhi toi ishyo nii tai.

I'm rather worried about Yang Yang (Our Dog) now. According to Irene, he doesn't look good and he has been sneezing quite a lot. They blame me for getting too close with Yang since I am still coughing, but I think that he's doing quite well still.

Irene will be monitoring his progress. If the situation doesn't get better, most probably have to bring him to the vet this weekend to have a medical checkup.

Get well soon Yang

Photographers' Pressure

It's always been my dream to have my pictures exhibit at a gallery, a restaurant or simply a place visited by the public. My family and close friends would have heard about me boasting about my vision for quite some time now.

But wen opportunity came knocking at my doors, I'm really out of speech. Last week, dad came back with a good news. "Son, I've found a place for you to exhibit all your photos." He is a man of his words, when I visited the place myself yesterday, I'm totally out of words.

That is exactly the place I'm looking for~!!! Nice warm cozy dining place with quite a unique touch on the theme. They have 4 shoplots full of empty walls calling out for photos to decorate them. Me and Irene really feel this opportunity is really once in a life time. Talked with the boss, and they actually looking for some kinda photos of old Penang and local cuisines/delicacies.

I'm not really stocked with this kinda photographs, hopefully if there's any photographers out there who wants their photographs to be exhibited, and maybe getting some income back, can contact me at ahhueng@yahoo.com . For these few weeks, I'll have to start sorting out my pictures and getting them developed before other people snatch up those walls.

MMU For Sale

Ever think about how you would tell your grandchildren about how it was like in MMU when u took your undergraduate studies? Can't think of a present to give you beloved lecturer to show your appreciation? I might just have the thing for you

Taken on March 2006, this panaroma is one of my signature pieces that I'm proud to share it with everyone. As for most of my landscape/architecture favourites, I usually pick a higher point of capture.

I got it printed on poster paper and laminated. The framing is done with natural wood with a mat border. The frame comes in 4 variations: Natural, Modern, Stylish and Classy. The length of this photo is approximately 44 inches (110cm). While the height would be around 20 inches (50 cm). I hung this on the center of my living room, but if you want one for yourself here's the opportunity.

From now until December 2006, I'll call an offer price of RM500 for the print as well as framing. Of course, you can order the photo only at only the price of RM250. After that, I will be selling it for RM 1000 each.

Shipping is included for Peninsular Malaysia, shipping elsewhere will depend on your location. It will be shipped from Penang and arrived at your doorsteps in 2 weeks once payment is made.

Caught in Fever

Apologies dear readers,

I haven't get the time to update my blog for quite some time. Maybe some of these photographs might get u interested back. Anyway, I was down on fever since night as I was taking pictures of this nice looking picture under the hot sun. After go back I forgot to rehydrate myself which causes the heat. Taken an MC for the following day, which I spent most of it sleeping and drinking loads of water.

Red Dragonfly, Balik Pulau, Penang

It's another of those weekends where I have the time to spend with my family, and girlfriend of course. Mom took back this brochure about a housing plan in Balik Pulau (Botanica.ct) which i find quite nice. Well, the most important criteria for me when looking for a house is one without a fencing.

Construction Site, Botanica.CT, Balik Pulau, Penang

The place wasn't that hard to find, and the place is quite well preserved. The place is a reserved land from the mass development of Penang, and I actually spotted a waterfall on the construction site. I left my tripods at home and hence, this photo you can't see the silky smooth water flowing. Anyway, it's laksa time after that. No pictures though...

Avast!

Looking for an antivirus program? Got a worm, trojan or a virus in your system? This program rocks!!! Not like I'm really in the antivirus business, in fact, I don't like the idea of having something taking up a lot of my resources just to keep me safe.

Got a worm in my system files for quite a few days now. It's easy to know as my computer is crying out to me. The fan was spinning all the time because of the extra processes running at the background. Even after a through hardware cleaning, the fan is still working with an extraordinary speed.

Avast! (thanks to mun kien) is a light-weight, freeware which takes up only minimal resources. What I like about it is, it runs a boot check for the first time when I restart the computer. This means that, I don't have to worry about subborn worms sticking into my system once I start the Operating System.

What some people might like about this software would be where it helps you to check on the pages you make on eMailing, and web browsing. I might suggest all my juniors to have this on their computer...especially those of you who install everything into your computer without giving a damn it's usefulness. Seng Kuang, u hear me?
