Birthday Wish

What I want for this years birthday? I have a list of expensive gifts: D200, 17-55 f2.8 DX, and a whole list of photo books which I will not mention here. But there's a simple gesture for those readers who wants to greet me personally on my birthday. I'll be at the Penang Bayan Lepas International airport from 6am till 8am for an authograph session with my fans.

After that, I will be boarding my personal jet to XiaMen where the delegates from various government agencies are eagering to show me around their industrial area. The "working trip" will be until end of the week, so if you want me, meet me now before I get onboard.

It'll be great to meet those of you who are in Penang, especially since 2nd of April is announced a holiday by the government in conjunction with the celebration of Yang Dipertua Sepuluh Kongsi, Dr Ir NeohSH. No fun, night night.

Blood Donation

It was 5 months since I last donated my blood. I was donating to a patient who didn't make it, but this time is just merely out of voluntary. The direct benifit from blood donation is I get free medical check up, recycle my blood flow, and generate more new cells.

After donation, usually we get some hot chocolate and biscuits. But to my surprise is the hospital is also giving away RM60 of Sunshine Square (Supermarket) voucher! Cool huh? But some feel eerie thinking they are selling their blood. But not me, RM60 is a good attraction, but I will never "SELL" my blood for a mere RM60. It's the lab staffs there which makes me visit them again (5 months after my 1st visit). The staffs are very friendly, and they perform a full blood check for me while chatting away like friends.

Stats:-
10 months --> 1327 pacs --> 132.7 pacs/day (2006)
3 months --> 450 pacs -> 150 pacs/day (2007)

Good to know that the blood donors are increasing, proves that the 'conservatives' are reducing. There's no harm giving away few hundred mili litre of blood as long as you are healthy and voluntary. I love blood donation, not feeling even the slightest tiring~! Cool yeah :)

Muar Rapper

Eventhough I'm quite free these days, but I don't understand how time are being burnt. It's about time for me to plan how to use my time fully.

So...this post is to share a MTV with you. I'm amazed by what our singers are capable of. Just need a little more acknowledgement and publicity. Respect!

Cycling to work

Impossible? Never...

When I was small, I learnt got my first cycling injury when my left eye almost got cut through barb wires when I fell down. Despite that, I continue enjoying cycling.

During secondary school, I cycle up Air Itam Dam, which takes a regular 15 minutes, but the fastest I reached the peak is about 25. In Uni, I cycle around Bukit Beruang where I study, and occasionally to town for the fun of it.

As cycling has been a part of me since young. I have always dreamt of cycling to work. I've purchased a new basi"CAR" few weeks before Chinese New Year. When it took it back home, there is a strong protest from my mom claiming that the road is very dangerous. As rebelious as I am, I kept that dream in my shirt pocket, and only took it out for regular exercise.

After months without exercise, I find it tiring cycling just a few km out to meeet my friends J&J. Then, the ride to Sunshine Square is rather an ease. Later, I took my bike for a 30km cycle from Bayan Lepas to Air Itam.

A new month and a new dream. Without ever testing the route time, I cycle to work 15 minutes before work starts. Patiently and enjoying the morning breeze along the way, I managed to arrive without having a sweat. Nice...I think I'll give it a try for a month, if things goes on smoothly, I might consider selling off my car to fund my other hobbies.

So many things to buy, so little money in my pocket. Aih~ life's like that.
