Ipoh Shuffle

This must be the funniest joke I've received today. Thanks Jack.

Updates:

Over the weekends, I've contested in District 51, Area S4 International Speech contest. Thanks to the help of my mentors, I've managed to win and proceed to the next level - Division S...which will be held in the 23rd of March. The excitement is flowing all over me...wish me luck.

Happy Chap Goh Meh

Instead of collecting mandarin oranges in the river, I'm supposed to prepare for another contest this Saturday. I'll be representing my club in the Area contest. The pressure is building up, and to release tension this is what I did...

As you can see, if you zoom in 100%, you can actually see the statutes in the pagoda. That's simply amazing. I only spent 10 minutes there as I was late...and this is one of my last shots. No sharpening needed...

I'm glad what my RM 6xxx camera can do for me. Never regret the upgrade. Now, back to my speech preparation.

3rd day of the lunar calendar

Happy Chinese New Year...this year, I've done things a little differently. Instead of finishing off our visits at midday, we spend more time at each stop and only arrive back around 5pm. It's really tiring considering I haven't got enough sleep staying up late the night before.

2nd day, I have a game of mahjong with Irene's family. It's rather funny seeing them "localized" the game to suit the Malaysian culture...including names of all races in Malaysia to the chips.

As for the 3rd day (today), i started the day off by deciding to dust off my computer. End up the computer doesn't start...KNS!!! Now havta use the laptop to online and blog.

John Yeoh called me to give me some tickets for Rambo. But i wasn't in the mood to watch after seeing the condition of my computer. :(

This day is also very special to me as it's the first time that both Irene and My family agreed to come out for dinner together. Since we dated for the past 6 years, they have never sat down together and have a good chat. I believed they have quite a lotta intellectual exchange. Her parents even agreed to come over after dinner to our place to have a good chat. That's a FIRST in our relationship. I believed Irene appreciates it as much as I do.

Before I end of this post, why not check out http://armorgames.com/ ... I especially love the game called SHIFT. Age of Wars also took up an hour of my time. Try it out if you're hanging lazily at home

Best Shot of the Day

I choose to stay home today since I don't spend much time with them since Qi came back. But since they have their own schedule, I went out to take some pictures.

I heard the sound of people racing from my room. So I took out my camera and went to the racing track near my place. Turns out there are a few people there practicing for a competition later this month. Here's the best shot of the day.
