Neoh Soon Hueng (nesohu) is a graduate with a BEng (Hons) Degree in Electronics Engineering from Multimedia University. During his study, he has been actively involved in social events and being nominated Deputy President of the Engineering Society for the term 2003-2004. Neoh did his industrial training in Penang Seagate's ESD department where he helped in programming as well as plant-wide conformance audit.
After graduation, he took up a job in Renesas Semiconductor (M) Sdn. Bhd. as a Test Engineer, IT Tech Support, Central Engineer as well as Test Development Engineer. [Download Resume]
Photographer
Nesohu is a self taught photographer who started getting actively involved into photography since his 20's. Being a person interested in technology and gadgets he started with his first digital camera Canon PowerShot S1IS. Among the assignments he took up are university events coverage as well as participating in photo competition held by various camera manufacturer. He's also a member of RojakStudio, FotoKrazy, Photokaki, and PhotoMalaysia.
As an avid traveller himself, he would go everywhere to indulge in other aspects of photography, such as landscapes, travel, macro and people. Recently, he tried his hands on catwalks and motorsports events, the latter via the annual Japan GT Super Series held in Sepang International Circuit (SIC). When asked how he pick up photography he said, "Continue shooting, reading and learning from other professional photographers"
Although photography has taken up most of his spare time, his parents are quite supportive in this hobby of his. They were the ones who paid for his first camera, as well as help him work through his way in getting Nikon D70s. Joining Toastmasters International since 2006, NeohSH has been actively participated in this program which helps it's members in their communication as well as leadership skills. In Feb 2008, Neoh received the Competent Communicator Award from TI. In March, he competed in the International Speech contest and managed to win 3rd placing in the District 51 Division S contest. He will be running for his club's presidency and continue to service its community.
